Vinoad's Dinner gathering

Hey gals and guys,

Another interesting post from yours truly haha. I don't often get the mood neither do I get the chance to blog so when both factors do coincide, the iron must be struck while its hot.

This happened ages ago but I guess I'll blog about it now. It was in December last year, around 2 months ago when Vinoad planned a special get together for us before he and a few others were leaving to the states.

We met up on a Sunday and unlike the last meeting, getting a cab was significantly easier on this occasion. I met Vinoad and a couple of the others near the Nike Shop in the new wing of Sunway Pyramid. Joining us for the dinner was Carissa, Amos, Qisti, Kristy and Zjen Thak. Khidir, Aaron and Farina were there too on that as well as Jillian but they unfortunately couldn't have dinner with us that evening.

We went to Papa John's, a nice Italian restaurant in the new wing. The food their was pretty delicious and I for one enjoyed it. We ate, talked and had a good hearty laugh or two in between chomping down morsels of delcious Pizza and a Casserole like dish that looked like an oversized curry puff but nevertheless very tasty I might add. One funny incident that happened was that Amos ordered onion rings as an appetiser before the meal. His appetite was voracious and that was meant solely to quel his hunger before the mains were to be served but the weird thing it didn't come even after we finished our meals. After Vinoad asked one of the waiting staff why it hadn't come they went to the kitchen and came back simply saying "We're out of stock". What the hell man, can't they say that in the beginning itself? Vinoad was quite outraged and complained so the manager agreed to give us a round of free drinks from the menu and we could choose whatever we wanted. Once again I escaped paying for a meal, Vinoad decided to pay for all of us and despite us offering to pitch in, he refused to accept our contributions. That was very nice of him and I highly appreciate the treat he gave us.

After the meal we took photos, photos and more photos. They're on my Facebook profile page, ill try and upload them here if I can haha. After messing about in Pyramid we drove back to college courtesy of Kristy and Amos haha. Qisti and Me were in Kristy's car while Vinoad, Carissa and Zjen Thak were hitching a ride with Amos.

Upon reaching college, the place was really seriously packed but we were lucky to find parking, Amos on the other hand was having trouble getting a place but eventually managed obtaining one. We went into college once presenting our ID's, and just mucked around there. Carissa, Vinoad, Zjen Thak and Amos wanted to go to the washroom and they were taking an unusually long time and we soon discovered that the 3 stooges Amos, Vinoad and Zjen Thak were snapping their pictures in the girls bathroom..........LOL what the heck haha. After that Zjen Thak wanted to get his stuff from the hostel, a pillow and a toaster.....haha.

After taking a whole load of photos and doing all sorts of crazy stuff we decided to call it a night and head back home. Kristy was taking Carissa and Qisti back and we all said our goodbyes once we left. Amos offered to give me a lift back home and I greatly appreciate it. Zjen Thak and Vinoad along with me hitched a ride with Amos and they dropped me back to my place first. The feeling was slightly weird, this was possibly the last time I was going to see the three of them and it honestly was very saddening to see them leave. We were all in the same intake and seeing them leave earlier was hard to stomach for me but I told myself I'd get used to it eventually.

I guess that's how life is, I find it so hard to keep in touch with many old friends that I loved hanging out with and yet they soon become a part of your life that was, if you catch my drift. I really feel bad about this and hope to keep in touch with them as much as possible in the future. As for these 3 jokers (Vinoad, Zjen Thak and Amos) and the rest leaving for the United States. I wish them the very best and hope they have bright futures ahead of them. My turn will be coming soon and hopefully all goes well and I make the right decision in finalising which university I decide to go to.
